The activities of C-Squat in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy actually attracted quite a bit of media attention. Possibly the most surreal bit was this glowing write up in Forbes, of all places:

This morning a representative from Food Not Bombs was interviewed on the radio, they were cooking batches of food to bring to communities in need in Staten Island and Far Rockaway. Check out their disaster relief efforts:
