all proceeds go to cover any outstanding final expenses & to buy paint
for a local mural in his honor
& we also want to send some $ to Bueno who was recently injured in
Puerto Rico

Shenker’s Squatter Opera
& then we will dance out the door to Michael’s recent recordings

Michael Shenker was one of the people at the forefront of the Squatter’s Movement and the push to save the Community Gardens on the Lower East Side, among other things. He was also a musician and a writer. He was also a good friend of my husband’s. He passed away recently and Sunday we’ll honor his memory.
