Next weekend in tandem with Mocca, I’m in this art show! The Tavern Of Ill Repute! (I gave them pages from my conjoined twin children’s comic.)
The show is at the I Made An Art gallery in Red Hook, a short walk from the Smith-9th St stop on the F or G train. A blend of artists showing graphic novel work, animations, music and performances. Some of the other artists include Adriano (whom we thank for curating this thing!), Dame Darcy, R. Sikoriak, Rick Parker, Danny Hellman, and others. Performers include Zero Boy and Bambi Killers.
In addition to Mocca at the Armory, this weekend the annual Anarchist Book Fair is happening at Judson Church near Washington Sq. park (where we got married!!!) and Eric will be performing on Saturday the 9th with Seth Tobocman, Andy Laties, & possibly others. Exact location of the performances to be determined, but I’ll post which annex as soon as I find out!
Meanwhile as I was creating this post, iPod shuffle dished up this song. I love Nancy Sinatra. I especially love this number. Check it out.
