MAY 24th- ASTRAL KNIFE – CAT-A-THON -CATLAND – Bushwick, Brooklyn occult store Catland is holding a fundraiser to start a community garden, and Astral Knife will be kicking things off with a 12:30 PM set. Afterwards festivities and performances continue for the next 24 hours. MAY 14th- MAN VS NATURE & RUBBER (O) CEMENT @ COCO66 – Eric & I are performing in Man Vs. Nature, opening for Rubber (O) Cement, along with several other bands. Show starts at 9PM. 66 Greenwich Street.

MARCH 28th-30th- YEAH, THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID – SPECIALS ON C- This is a weekend-long intersectional feminist event with workshops, performances, film, and an art show, which I’ll be part of. “This exhibit features 25+ women artists exploring the space between “The Personal is Political” and “The Political is personal with an emphasis on self-referential, self-representational and confessional expressions.” Opening party is Friday night from 6-10. 195 Ave. C, at 12th St. http://yeahthatswhatshesaidnyc.tumblr.com/public events

FEBRUARY 21ST 8PM – NYC “GONG SHOW” – OLD MAN HUSTLE Johnny Bizarre revives that old favorite of stoned 70’s parents, “The Gong Show”, LES style at Old Man Hustle (39 Essex Street).   • AUGUST 1ST 6PM – SUPERCHIEF SUMMER SEASON MEGA GROUP SHOW-  I have a piece in the Superchief Gallery show at Culture Fix @ 9 Clinton St (just below Houston).   • APRIL 6TH 3PM -WW3 SLIDESHOW -ANARCHIST BOOK FAIR NYC A multi-media presentation by Artists and Editors of North America’s longest running political comic book including: Seth Tobocman, Hillary Allison, Ethan Heitner, & Jenny Gonzalez-Blitz. With music by Eric Blitz, Ben Barson, & Joe Merolla. Rebecca Migdal acts as MC. This year the Anarchist Book Fair is at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center at 107 Suffolk Street. The show will be in the back floor of the main room. Also, I’ll have the latest issue of the Living In La La Land zine there.

  •  SEPTEMBER 28TH-30TH, 2012 – NY ART BOOK FAIR – Printed Matter presents the NY Art Book Fair, coinciding with the events for the week of Fluxfest 2012 NYC. World War 3 Illustrated will be exhibiting there. The Fair will be held at MoMA PS1, Lucy Lippard and Paul Chan are keynote speakers.   •  SEPTEMBER 27TH, 2012 – FLUXFEST NYC The Fluxus movement began in NYC, so my hometown seems like the perfect place to participate in my first Fluxus Festival. Urchestra/Doll Hospital have been invited onto the bill. Westbeth Community Room (55 Bethune Street), 7-11 PM. If the idea of Fluxus makes you feel uncertain, have some self esteem building via the Surrealist Compliment Generator.
  • AUGUST 10TH, 2012 – THREE ARROWS SCHMOOZE – I’m doing a reading at Three Arrows Cooperative Society in Putnam Valley, NY. Headlining is Seth Tobocman. And of course Eric Blitz and Andy Laties are providing music. And then I’m gonna see if I can ride in that kayak on the website.
  • JULY 21st, 2012 – PETE’S MINI ZINE FEST- I’ll be tabling at Pete’s Mini Zine Fest at Pete’s Candy Store, 709 Lorimer St., with a new print edition of Living In La La Land among the swag.
  • JULY 19, 2012 – WW3 RELEASE PARTY – I’m performing my piece from the new issue of World War 3 at the release party, with Eric accompanying with percussion (he’ll be doing that for some of the other performers too.) 7:30 PM at Le Petit Versailles garden, 346 East Houston St.
  • JULY 2012 WORLD WAR 3 ILLUSTRATED #43 (shipping from Top Shelf Comix) – This issue of World War 3 Illustrated tackles the subject of censorship (funny how that never stops being relevant) with contributions from artists both here and in the Middle East. I will have a six page piece called “Psychic Harm Reduction” appearing in the issue. In the meantime, you can get a gander at the cover (a stark Sue Coe portrait of Bradley Manning) at Top Shelf’s website.
  • JUNE 2nd – 3rd BUSHWICK OPEN STUDIOS 2012 – Artists from The Coffin Factory art collective will be participating in Bushwick Open Studios, a weekend long event.
